After completing a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Bridgwater College with Distinction, Libby went on to train at a vocational dance college in Bristol (DASW) where she studied in depth a range of styles (Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hip, Contemporary, Singing, Drama, Musical Theatre). Libby then gained a place at the Royal Academy of Dance.

During her time at the RAD Libby was taught by some of the most prestigious teachers in Ballet Education. Experiencing teaching in a variety of settings including community dance and A/S Level Dance. Libby chose to undertake the majority of her teaching assessments at one of the biggest recreational dance schools in London, achieving excellent marks and gaining valuable experience in teaching a huge range of children. Libby taught at a number of schools whilst a student at the RAD in addition studied the LRAD program and her ISTD dance teaching qualifications in Tap and Modern.

Upon graduating with a 2:1 degree in Ballet Education from the RAD and the University of Surrey, Libby became a self-employed dance teacher; teaching at a number of dance schools and nurseries in London before returning to Somerset.
