We offer students the opportunity to undertake dance examinations with two of the worlds most renowned dance teaching societies, the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Students can only be entered for exams when the teacher feels the student is ready. Ballet Examinations (with the RAD) can be taken from age 5 and upwards and Modern Theatre and Tap examinations ISTD) can be taken from age 6 and upwards. 

 

There are additional costs such as exam fees and extra coaching sessions for students wishing to take exams, however, they are a valuable experience.

 

All RAD and some ISTD exams are now on the Qualifications and Credits Framework and now count towards UCAS points! Please click below for more detailed information.
